Wendi Richter Open To Facing Toni Storm In AEW

Money talks...

WWE Hall of Famer Wendi Richter would wrestle for the first time in almost two decades if current AEW Women's World Champion Toni Storm was standing across the ring from her.

Timeless Toni and Mariah May have frequently called out Richter on AEW television, including at the Worlds End press conference where Storm said: "Wendi Richter. I'm going to f*ck you up!".

Responding to these callouts during a virtual signing with Highspots, the former WWE Women's Champion said:

"I didn't even know she had been calling me out. Someone told me she's been doing it on a regular basis. Well, money does talk. If they can cough up enough money, I'd take her on. I'd even give her the first swing. Bring it, Toni. You think you can beat me? I'd like to see it. I'm not afraid".

As well as the WWE Women's Title, Richter also held the AWA Women's Championship during her illustrious career. The 63-year-old last wrestled at the WrestleReunion 2 event in August 2005.

Storm is currently in her third reign as AEW Women's World Champion, having won the title at the Full Gear pay-per-view on November 18.
