What Jeff Hardy's Injury Reportedly Means For The Hardy Boyz On WWE SmackDown Live

Tag Team title reign in jeopardy...

The Hardy Boyz won the WWE SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships from The Usos on the blue brand show after WrestleMania. In the process, Matt and Jeff became the first tag team in WWE history to win the three major tag team championships (World, Raw, and SmackDown Live).

However, we haven't seen Team Xtreme on SmackDown for some time and that's down to an injury suffered by Jeff. It's been reported here, there, and everywhere that The Charismatic Enigma is dealing with a leg injury as he was reduced to a managing role at live events over the weekend.

Jeff was seen limping at ringside while Matt was wrestling singles matches.

Dave Meltzer spoke on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio and believes The Hardys will have to drop their titles on SmackDown Live due to the injury suffered by Jeff.

Looking at the teams who could be next in line for some tag team silver and blue, it looks like WWE have the following teams to pick from: New Day, Rusev and Nakamura, The Colons, The Good Brothers, The Singh Brothers or Heavy Machinery.
