Wheeler Yuta On If Cesaro Would Fit In Blackpool Combat Club

Wheeler Yuta speaks on the notion of Cesaro joining AEW's hardest-hitting stable.

AEW's Wheeler Yuta recently did an online meet and greet in conjunction with K&S WrestleFest, and was at one point asked about the idea of Cesaro (or Claudio Castagnoli) joining the Blackpool Combat Club. Yuta was enthusiastic about the idea but admitted that he would simply support Cesaro deciding to wrestle anywhere.

"Cesaro’s awesome. I would support him in any role anywhere I can see him wrestle. He’s incredible. But I think he would fit in very well with us, he’s got history with Regal as well."

Cesaro left WWE in February after 11 years when his contract expired.

As well as occasionally wrestling in NJPW, having competed in the latest Best of the Super Juniors tournament, Yuta remains the newest member of AEW's Blackpool Combat Club, joining Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and manager William Regal. It's unclear whether more members are set to be added in the future. He is also the reigning ROH Pure Champion, having won the title from Josh Woods at Supercard of Honor XV over WrestleMania weekend.

H/T to Fightful.
