Why Jamie Hayter Has Been Absent From AEW TV In Recent Weeks

The reason for Jamie Hayter's current absence from All Elite Wrestling TV has been revealed.

Hayter has not appeared on AEW TV since the post-Double or Nothing edition of Dynamite which saw the former AEW Women's World Champion be taken out by the debuting Thekla. This came only days after Hayter lost to Mercedes Moné in the final of the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament at Double or Nothing.

Fightful Select has reported that sources within All Elite Wrestling have indicated that Hayter hasn't been cleared to appear on AEW TV since the post-Double or Nothing edition of Dynamite and she would be used on TV if the promotion were in a position to book her. The timetable for Hayter's return is currently unknown but AEW are hopeful she will be back soon.

Jamie Hayter has suffered multiple long-term absences from AEW in recent years. She was off AEW TV for over a year from Double or Nothing 2023 to All In 2024 due to two seriously herniated discs in her back. Hayter was then absent from January to March 2025 due to travelling back to the United Kingdom to renew her United States work visa.
