Pat McAfee has been absent from Monday Night Raw for the past three weeks, with Wade Barrett replacing McAfee as the colour commentator on June 9, while Corey Graves was featured on Raw alongside Michael Cole on June 16 and June 23.
McAfee addressed his absence from WWE TV on the Pat McAfee Show, revealing that he took some time away due to being exhausted.
"Continuing to just like kinda catch up on life as a whole. Post-Money in the Bank, pre-Night of Champions…was getting pretty exhausted there. So shout out to everybody at WWE for looking out for me too. Very, very thankful," McAfee said.
McAfee is in his second run as a full-time announcer on WWE TV, having been the colour commentator on Monday Night Raw since January 2024. McAfee also sporadically wrestles for WWE, including most recently at May's Backlash pay-per-view when he lost to Gunther.
Corey Graves was reportedly well-received within WWE upon his return to Monday Night Raw, with the issues from earlier this year having "been all but forgotten."
