Why WWE Made Changes To Jade Cargill's Entrance Revealed

Several months on from her WWE signing, Jade Cargill was finally unveiled as a Friday Night SmackDown talent on the March 29 edition of the blue brand. It was confirmed soon after that Cargill will be in action at WrestleMania 40 when she teams with Bianca Belair and Naomi to take on Damage CTRL's Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai.

Cargill had a new entrance on SmackDown which shared similarities to her AEW presentation, opening with "a storm is coming". A new addition saw snow fall inside the arena as she made her way to the ring. Fightful Select's Corey Brennan reported that WWE have been working on Cargill's entrance for some time and multiple changes were made in recent weeks. All major producers in WWE had input on the entrance when it came to angles, lighting, sound, and other factors.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted WWE wanted to ensure Cargill's entrance was suitably different from The Rock's. Dwayne Johnson has been pretty much a full-time talent in recent months as WWE builds to his WrestleMania night one main event match where he will team with Roman Reigns against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

Cargill's entrance could see more changes, particularly at WrestleMania. The foundation of the entrance is expected to have been established on SmackDown, however.
