Women's Tag Team Championship Match Set For WWE Fastlane 2021

The first match for the event has been announced

The first scheduled match for WWE Fastlane 2021 has been confirmed as Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against Smackdown Women's Champion Sasha Banks, and her WrestleMania 37 opponent, Bianca Belair.

Banks and Belair challenged Baszler and Jax for the tag-team gold at Elimination Chamber, failing to pick up the win, but the duo will get another shot at the titles on the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania in April.

Belair, as the 2021 Royal Rumble winner, declared that she would challenge Banks for her Championship on last weeks' Smackdown. With their WrestleMania showdown on the horizon, is it possible they could face on 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All' as the reigning tag-team title holders?

As for the champions, Jax and Baszler controversially defended their titles on Wednesday's NXT, seeing off Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez, and have held the titles since winning them back from Charlotte Flair and Asuka at the Royal Rumble.

WWE Fastlane 2021 is set for Sunday 21 March, 2021.
