Women's Title Match, Tag Tournament Finals Set For 2/3 WWE SmackDown

The first SmackDown following the Rumble

A Women's championship match and a tournament final are scheduled for next Friday night's episode of WWE SmackDown.

On the card, Charlotte Flair will defend her SmackDown Women's title against Sonya Deville.

The match was set up with footage of Deville interrupting Flair's appearance on Ryan Satin's podcast this week. Flair went to Adam Pearce on SmackDown to demand a match, which Pearce made for the following week.

In addition, the finals of the SmackDown Tag Team title number one contenders tournament is set, albeit with a substitute duo involved.

Braun Strowman and Ricochet defeated Hit Row in the semis, after filling in for Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. The latter duo was attacked during their entrance by The Viking Raiders, prompting Strowman and Ricochet to be subbed in.

Strowman and Ricochet advance to the finals to face Imperium members Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, who defeated Legado del Fantasma in the other semifinal bout.

The current card for next week's WWE SmackDown, taking place at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC, includes the following:

* SmackDown Women's: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Sonya Deville

* SmackDown Tag Team top contenders' tournament final: Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci
