Wrestler Removed From AEW Roster Page

An AEW Original has been removed from the roster page

An AEW original may no longer be with the company. Sonny Kiss, who has been in AEW since pretty much day one, has seemingly been removed from the AEW roster page on their website over the last 24 hours or so.

Kiss competed on AEW’s very first PPV event, Double or Nothing 2019, wrestling in the Casino Battle Royale which marked the company’s first ever match in its history. Kiss signed with the promotion shortly after, though has been featured very infrequently over the years. Outside of matches against the likes of Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega on one-off episodes of AEW Dynamite, Kiss hasn’t been a major player on AEW programming at all. In fact, Kiss’ last AEW match was all the way back in March on AEW Dark, with Kiss’ last televised appearance being all the way back in August 2022 on AEW Rampage.

What this means for Kiss’ future isn’t clear, as they have been appearing semi-regularly on ROH programming in the Trustbusters faction.
