Wrestling Entertainment Series Card Revealed
Who is in action at the first Wrestling Entertainment Series show?
The card for the first Wrestling Entertainment Series show - which will take place at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England, on June 4 - has been revealed.
The show, which is being promoted by former WWE Raw Tag Team Champions the Authors of Pain (now going by the name Legion of Pain), features mostly former WWE stars in featured matches.
In the main event, Adam 'The Titan' Scherr (FKA Braun Strowman) will take on former UFC star and Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem in a WES World Championship match.
This will be Overeem's first foray into the professional wrestling world.
In the show's co-main event, C.J. Perry (FKA Lana) will meet Lina Fanene (FKA Nia Jax) in a WES Women's World Championship bout.
The rest of the card, which is being billed as taking place 'Live on PPV', is:
- Legion of Pain vs. Westin Blake & Steve Maclin (FKA The Forgotten Sons)
- Killer Kross vs. Samuray Del Sol (FKA Kalisto) Vs. Jonah (FKA Bronson Reed)
- Madison Rayne & Tenille Dashwood vs. Deonna Purrazzo & Chelsea Green
- Dean Muhtadi (FKA Mojo Rawley) vs. Lince Dorado
Scheduled for the 'Free Live Pre-Show' portion of the show is Mike Bennett versus Biff Busick, as well as Dirty Dango (FKA Fandango) versus Levis Valenzuela Jr. (FKA No Way Jose).
