There could be trouble brewing for some social media users, as the photo agency with paparazzi pics of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's holiday/vacation earlier this year have been contacting individuals about their use of the photos.
Triple H also provided a spoiler for WWE Wrestlepalooza, while there is an update on Hechicero's AEW status and whether or not Octagon Jr. will be able to work Worlds Collide following an injury scare.
WWE and AEW rumours for Wednesday, September 10, 2025:
Triple H took some time away from WWE this summer as he, Stephanie McMahon, and their three daughters went on holiday/vacation to Mykonos, Greece.
The married couple were snapped by paparazzi taking a boat into the Mediterranean Sea, and Fightful Select has reported that a number of people who reposted the paparazzi pics have claimed they received legal notices, believed to be from the photo agency as opposed to WWE or the family. The level of the legal notices and if they stretch beyond a cease-and-desist is unknown. The holiday photos were distributed by Backgrid.
Fightful further noted that a number of people within WWE were frustrated and upset that the photos emerged, going so far as to say they were an invasion of privacy.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H confirmed on the Pat McAfee Show that Cody Rhodes will be at WWE Wrestlepalooza, saying: "I'll give you a spoiler right now, Cody will be back, Indianapolis."
The WWE Champion had not been officially announced for the show, although reports in recent days have noted that Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre is scheduled for Wrestlepalooza.
The match was briefly up in the air, likely due to Cody's commitments in filming Street Fighter in Australia, but it was reaffirmed this week that it will be Cody vs. McIntyre for the WWE Championship on September 20 in Indianapolis. The match could be confirmed on Friday's SmackDown, with McIntyre due to face Randy Orton on the show.
Octagon Jr. was in action at the AAA Alianzas taping on Sunday night as he teamed with Laredo Kid to challenge Psycho Clown and Pagano for the AAA World Tag Team Titles in a three-way that also featured Los Garza.
Psycho Clown and Pagano successfully defended the belts, and Octagon Jr. was checked by WWE's medical team post-match, with the referee throwing up an 'X' to signify that Octagon was legitimately hurt. Octagon was then reportedly taken backstage on a stretcher.
Following the taping, PWInsider has reported that the belief within WWE is that Octagon Jr. is okay and will likely be able to wrestle at Friday's Worlds Collide show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Octagon is scheduled to team with La Parka, Mascarita Sagrada, and Nino Hamburguesa against Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde, Lince Dorado & Mini Abismo Negro.
Following reports earlier this year, Hechicero has confirmed he is indeed signed to a dual contract with All Elite Wrestling and CMLL.
"I thank everyone from the media and the fans who had been asking; yes, I can confirm I am part of All Elite Wrestling. I am still linked with CMLL, which is something I want to thank Salvador Lutteroth & Tony Khan for the trust given to me. I am the first wrestler to have a double multi-year deal, and I take that with a lot of responsibility because it reinforces the alliance, how CMLL keeps expanding its wrestling, and of course the global dominance that AEW has," Hechicero told Fox Sports Mexico.
AEW and CMLL have been working together since 2023 and the alliance has proved fruitful for both promotions. Hechicero has been featured across AEW and ROH since January 2024, and he recently main evented ROH Death Before Dishonor, unsuccessfully challenging Bandido for the ROH World Title in a match of the year contender.
