Triple H has made several appearances at the White House in 2025, standing alongside President Donald Trump for announcements, while the WWE Chief Content Officer also met with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. earlier this year. This has led to some concern within WWE.
Trump, meanwhile, is reportedly undecided about appearing at the December 13 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event in Washington, DC, which will host John Cena's final match.
Pro wrestling rumours for Friday, October 10, 2025:

Triple H's political appearances in 2025 haven't been met with resounding positivity within WWE, with Dave Meltzer reporting in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the WWE Chief Content Officer has missed some recent TV tapings, which has led people to say his political priorities have "started to hurt the company."
A person close to Triple H disagreed with this suggestion, noting he has not missed any creative meetings and Paul Levesque's schedule is worked out in advance. Even those who back Triple H, however, have noted he wants to be WWE's version of Dana White where he is the brand's biggest star, with one person even using the term "Dana-envy."
One individual near the top of WWE stated they don't believe Triple H's attempts to become the Dana White of WWE have hurt the company's product, with the consensus within WWE being that things are better for everyone with Triple H in charge over Vince McMahon.
It was also acknowledged that Triple H doesn't currently have to deliver an amazing TV product due to how much money WWE is making at the moment across TV rights, live event gates, and merchandise.

Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Donald Trump is undecided about whether or not to attend the December 13 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, which will feature John Cena's final match.
The president of the United States is already confirmed to be at the Army vs. Navy American football game at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium at 3 pm ET. This would give Trump enough time to attend Cena's final match should he wish to do so.
While Trump might not be there, "a lot of major people" have already informed WWE they are planning to attend Saturday Night's Main Event.

Following WWE's acquisition of AAA, Santos Escobar returned to the Lucha Libre promotion as he teamed with Angel and Berto at June's Worlds Collide where they defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Psycho Clown and Pagano in trios action.
El Hijo del Vikingo was the reigning AAA Mega Champion at the time and BodySlam has reported that Santos Escobar was at one point planned to defeat Vikingo for AAA's top title, with Los Garza reigning as AAA World Tag Team Champions too.
Angel and Berto ultimately had a 62-day reign as tag champs, but Escobar never won the AAA Mega Title. Instead, Dominik Mysterio dethroned Vikingo at Worlds Collide: Las Vegas in September.
Whether WWE intend to revisit those plans for Escobar now that he has signed a new "big money" deal with the company is unknown.

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions The IInspiration have their deals with the promotion expiring, with Fightful Select reporting that Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay's contracts only run through this weekend's Bound For Glory.
This doesn't necessarily mean The IInspiration will be going anywhere, however, as TNA have already expressed interest in retaining Lee and McKay, and the promotion expect new deals to be worked out.
The IInspiration returned to TNA at Against All Odds in June. They became TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions for the second time on the October 2 episode of TNA IMPACT.
Lee and McKay were previously a part of TNA from Bound For Glory 2021 to Rebellion 2022, during which they had a 133-day reign with the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. They exited the promotion to begin their respective families.

Jazz has served as a guest coach at the WWE Performance Center on several occasions in 2025 and she is currently doing so again this week, PWInsider has reported. Ace Steel, the producer for TNA, is also at the WWE facility this week in Orlando, Florida in a guest coaching role.
PWInsider has reported that WWE was also looking at bringing in TJP for his own guest coaching stint later this month. The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has been featured in New Japan Pro-Wrestling in recent years and he is one-half of the reigning NJPW STRONG Tag Team Champions with Templario.
