The WWE 24/7 Championship is seemingly no more.

Nikki Cross defeated Dana Brooke to capture the title on Monday's episode of Raw, winning the gold for the 11th time. Cross seemingly didn't want the title, though, as she was shown in a backstage segment looking up at the ceiling with Damage CTRL before she tried to put the belt in a trash can. Cross accidentally missed the rubbish bin, though, but she didn't stop to pick up the title and instead just carried on walking.

Cross's husband Big Damo reacted to the miss, tweeting: "She never played basketball I don't know what to tell you."

The 24/7 Championship was established back in May 2019, with Titus O'Neil becoming the inaugural champion. The title was primarily used for comic relief on Monday Night Raw, with it being long associated with R-Truth who has had 54 reigns with the championship.

The title had not been featured much on WWE TV since Triple H gained control of creative in July following Vince McMahon's retirement as WWE CEO and Chairman.
