WWE 2K24 Teases Undertaker Announcement

Some sort of Undertaker announcement teased by WWE 2K24

We are on the road to WWE 2K24, with the next instalment of the WWE games series announced on January 17.

The official @WWEGames Twitter/X account has been teasing potential features for the new game, with more details expected to be revealed on January 22.

The account first posted a picture of a sleeveless referee top - tagging Stone Cold Steve Austin on the post - and later posted a picture of Rhea Ripley in the gym with the 2K24 logo in the background, potentially hinting at who the cover star could be.

In another tease, a picture of an upright casket bathed in purple light was posted, with The Undertaker tagged. Fans have already started speculating what this latest tease could mean, with either the long awaited return of the Casket Match to a WWE game, or an Undertaker Showcase mode amongst the more popular guesses online.

If an Undertaker Showcase mode is indeed the plan, then the Steve Austin referee shirt post would be referencing WWF Judgment Day: In Your House from October 1998, where Austin was the referee for Undertaker vs. Kane for the vacant WWF Championship in the night’s main event. Rhea Ripley is also of course a member of The Judgment Day in current day WWE...
