WWE Announce Network Special In Melbourne, Australia

Featuring one hell of a main event...

WWE have announced that 'Super Show-Down' - a live Network special - is set to take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia later this year.

Super Show-Down will take place on Saturday, October 6, and is set to be the biggest WWE event ever to take place in Australia. As per WWE's official announcement:

'As first reported by the Sunday Herald Sun, WWE, in partnership with TEG Dainty, will return to Australia with WWE Super Show-Down, a historic event taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Saturday, October 6, 2018, featuring the largest collection of WWE Superstars and Legends ever to appear in the country.'

Perhaps the most noteworthy thing about this show is its planned main event, which will see Triple H take on The Undertaker.

The pair have clashed in some of the most high-profile matches in WWE history, including three bouts at WrestleMania. Their first 'Mania clash was at X-Seven, before the pair went on to wrestle at XXVII and XXVIII as well. The latter was the 'end of an era' Hell in a Cell match, featuring Shawn Michaels as special guest referee.

Michaels has also been announced for the Melbourne show, although it's unclear in what capacity he'll be appearing. WWE's full list of talent announced so far is as follows:

'John Cena, Ronda Rousey, Shane McMahon, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Nia Jax, AJ Styles, Charlotte Flair, Daniel Bryan, The Miz, Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss, Big Show, Bray Wyatt, and the team of Billie Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics'.
