WWE Announces Latest NXT UK Signings

Including Meiko Satomura & Lucky Kid

WWE has added multiple new faces to the NXT UK roster over the past few months and the company announced earlier today that Meiko Satomura, Lucky Kid, Tony Gill and Bailey Matthews have all signed with the UK brand.

Satomura's signing has been expected for some time after reports first emerged back in October and she was positioned as Kay Lee Ray's next challenger on last night's episode of NXT UK. The 26-year veteran is considered one of the best female wrestlers in the world and she has competed for the likes of Stardom, PROGRESS, Pro Wrestling EVE and wXw. She is also one of the co-founders of Sendai' Girls Pro Wrestling.

Tony Gill's signing has been known about for a little while after he was featured on the WWE Performance Center website. Fans may know him from his time in IMPACT Wrestling as The Desi Hit Squad's Gursinder Singh.

Lucky Kid, also known as Metehan, is a 13-year veteran of the squared circle and has spent much of his career wrestling on the European independent wrestling scene, primarily in wXw. He is a former 16 Carat Gold winner and a former wXw Shotgun Champion.

Bailey Matthews is the son of NXT General Manager William Regal and has been wrestling since 2018. He appeared to be training for a career in New Japan Pro-Wrestling as he popped up as a young lion at Wrestle Kingdom 14, but those plans must have changed.
