WWE Ask Fans About Interest In Ranking System

WWE gauging interest in a ranking system

Could WWE be set to introduce a ranking system?

The company sent out a survey to select fans last week, and one of the topics covered was their interest in a wrestler ranking system, PWInsider noted. WWE also looked to gauge fans' interest in 'real behind-the-scenes workings in WWE' and NFTs.

Elsewhere, WWE asked fans to answer how many times a month they watch Raw, SmackDown and NXT and how often they attend WWE house shows and premium events.

Vince McMahon's company previously used 'WWE Power Rankings' which centred around a talent's impact on WWE TV.

All Elite Wrestling have had a different ranking system since the promotion was founded whereby talent are ranked based on their win-loss record. This system is often used to determine title challengers for the organisation's various championships.

Ring Of Honor have also had a ranking system at various points in the promotion's history, with it most recently being revived in January of 2021 and split into divisions, with there being separate rankings for the ROH World Title and ROH Pure Championship, among other belts.
