WWE Bringing Back Fastlane For October PPV

Fastlane follows Payback as a revived PPV brand

WWE are set to revive Fastlane as a premium live event.

The company announced yesterday that Fastlane will take place on Saturday, October 7. It will emanate from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The seventh Fastlane overall, it will also mark the first WWE PLE to take place in Indianapolis in seven years (since Clash of Champions 2016). Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday, July 14.

As of now, no specific WWE stars have been advertised for the event.

Historically taking place in either February or March, Fastlane has played host to many major matches and memorable moments (such as Goldberg's quick Universal Title victory over Kevin Owens in 2017).

Though typically dual-branded, Fastlane was Raw-exclusive in 2017 and SmackDown-exclusive in 2018.

The most recent edition of Fastlane took place inside the Thunderdome in 2021 and was headlined by Roman Reigns defending his Universal Title against Daniel Bryan.

Fastlane 2023 will be available to watch on Peacock for fans in the United States and on the WWE Network everywhere else.
