WWE Confirm NXT Move During Olympics

NXT is heading to Syfy

WWE has officially announced NXT will be moving for the next two weeks.

Episodes from WWE's black and gold brand usually air on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on USA Network, but the 2020 Summer Olympics will air on the TV channel instead meaning the July 27 and August 3 editions of NXT have been bumped to Syfy. Both shows will air at the usual start time of 8 pm ET.

The two shows will also be taped in advance on Wednesday, July 21 at the Capitol Wrestling Center, according to F4W Online.

Three matches have already been announced for the July 27 show. Check out the card below:
• Adam Cole vs. Bronson Reed
• Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher vs. Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan
• Carmelo Hayes vs. Josh Briggs - NXT Breakout Tournament

WWE does have a history with Syfy. The company's ECW brand aired on the network from 2006 until 2010 and SmackDown would replace the show and air on the channel until 2015. The blue brand then moved to USA Network and later FOX.
