WWE Coverage In The UK Moves To BT Sport From Sky

WWE programming has found a new home in the UK.

WWE programming is set to move home in the UK for the first time in over three decades, according to an exclusive report from The Telegraph.

BT Sport are said to be gaining the rights from Sky Sports imminently, although no date has been mentioned. BT Sport themselves have remained tight-lipped about the subject so far, and are yet to make an official statement.

Although no concrete date is publicly known, the change apparently will not occur until after this Sunday's Money in the Bank event.

WWE's partnership with Sky stretches back over 30 years, with Raw and SmackDown currently available live in the early hours of Tuesday and Wednesday morning (UK time). Network specials are available for non-subscribers to the WWE Network via Sky Sports Box Office.

Quite what this change means for WWE in the UK remains to be seen, although Sky Sports viewers without a BT Sport subscription may be feeling a little annoyed.
