It was reported last month that WWE were tentatively planning a return to Saudi Arabia in June this year for the upcoming Night Of Champions 2026 PLE, which has become a consistent feature of WWE’s relationship with Saudi Arabia in recent years, along with potentially another PLE later on in the year too. WWE is also scheduled to hold WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia, making it the first to ever take place out of North America… however plans might be up in the air for these shows.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE have been in discussions regarding the status of all upcoming Saudi Arabia PLEs, including WrestleMania 43. This comes amid the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, which has seen several countries (including Saudi Arabia) involved, prompting both travel chaos and growing fears across the region.
It is noted that no decisions have been made as of yet nor is anything in the process of being cancelled, but there are discussions taking place surrounding the status of the shows scheduled to be hosted in the region.
