The brands of Friday Night SmackDown, Monday Night RAW and NXT have recently been involved in a “transfer window”, which has seen the doors wide open to all brands and multiple different wrestlers enjoying their freedoms on other shows, not to mention some deals being made to trade and move wrestlers permanently to a new home. You can expect to see more shake-ups very soon when it comes to the rosters across WWE’s three brands.

In a Q&A on PWInsider, Mike Johnson was asked if WWE were set to hold their annual WWE Draft event in the aftermath of WrestleMania 41. In recent years, WWE have conventionally held their official Draft in the weeks following the biggest show of the year.

Johnson revealed that there are in fact plans in store for a WWE Draft, and despite the fact that the company have recently held this “transfer window”, it is planned for as soon as the post-WrestleMania season. There isn’t an exact date on when to expect WWE’s two-night Draft, but this answer indicates that it will be sooner rather than later.
