WWE Draft Scheduled For October 9 And October 12

A big shake-up is on the way...

The landscape of WWE is set for a big shake-up in the next couple of weeks as the company announced the WWE Draft is scheduled for the October 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown and the October 12 Monday Night Raw.

The likes of AJ Styles, Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode and Mandy Rose have all changed brands since the last draft in October 2019, but this will be the first major reorganisation since then.

If NXT will be involved remains to be seen, but Triple H previously said the black and gold brand would be part of this year's draft.

The Game said: "There's different protocols and procedures around, 'Hey, we'd like to move his talent. We'd like to do that.' And you'll see that coming up in the draft later in the year and, you know, you definitely have to think about it a lot more and think about those changes."

WWE has reportedly been planning to hold a draft for some time. The shake-up was originally scheduled for the end of August, but it was then moved to September and then October. The date then changed a few more times but the company seemingly finally decided upon October 9 and October 12.
