A talent on WWE EVOLVE has undergone a name change.

Leigh Laurel - who was featured on season one of WWE LFG - debuted on WWE EVOLVE during Wednesday night's show. Laurel was featured in a backstage segment with EVOLVE General Manager Stevie Turner, who presented Laurel with a contract and announced she would be known as Jin Tala moving forward. Tala will make her in-ring debut on WWE EVOLVE next week against Carlee Bright.

Leigh Laurel joined WWE in 2024. She was part of WWE LFG on Booker T's team but she was sent home on the May 4 episode of LFG. Laurel has had 11 matches across LFG since signing with the company.

WWE EVOLVE debuted on March 5. The show airs on Tubi in the United States and on WWE's YouTube channel in the United Kingdom. The fourth brand from WWE features wrestlers from the WWE ID programme and NXT wrestlers.

WWE EVOLVE championships were introduced earlier this year and the inaugural WWE EVOLVE Women's Champion was crowned on Wednesday night as Kali Armstrong defeated Wendy Choo, Kylie Rae, and Kendal Grey in a four-way elimination match.
