WWE Expected To Sign Richard Holliday

WWE could be set to sign a standout on the independent wrestling scene.

Fightful Select has reported that WWE are interested in Richard Holliday and the expectation is he could be soon signed by the company, if he hasn't been signed already. WWE have been interested in Holliday previously and he has attended multiple WWE tryouts in recent years.

The Takedown on SI reported back in January that there was talk of Holliday joining TNA Wrestling, and there was a pitch for him to be revealed as Mr. Elegance, but the role ultimately went to AJZ.

Richard Holliday has been wrestling since 2015 and he was a part of Major League Wrestling across multiple stints between 2018 and 2024, during which he was at one point a part of The Dynasty with MJF and Alexander Hammerstone. Holliday was also booked as an enhancement talent by All Elite Wrestling in November 2024 and him being attacked post-match by Dralistico resulted in heat for La Faccion Ingobernable.

In 2026, Richard Holliday has performed on the indies for the likes of OVW, Gotham Wrestling, and Reality of Wrestling. He is also the reigning NWA Midwest Champion.
