WWE Facing Scheduling Conflict During WrestleMania 37 Week

The Staples Center is double booked...

Back in February 2020, WWE announced WrestleMania 37 is going Hollywood and will take place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on March 28, 2021. WWE's other programming will also be broadcast from the Golden State during WrestleMania week as Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and an NXT TakeOver show will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California

If shows will emanate from the Staples Center is up in the air, however, as the arena recently announced popular regional Mexican band Grupo Firme has booked the venue on March 26 and March 27, 2021, for "two unforgettable nights of regional Mexican dance tunes, norteñas and corridors!"

According to the Staples Center, the group has sold out venues across the United States and Mexico and is "one of the hottest, new Regional Mexican acts."

With the booking, WWE will seemingly have to find a new venue for SmackDown and NXT if WrestleMania is able to take place in California. Whether or not The Showcase Of The Immortals will go ahead in Inglewood is currently unknown, however, because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
