WWE Hires Kevin Dunn's Replacement

Kevin Dunn's replacement brought in by WWE

WWE have hired Kevin Dunn's replacement.

The organisation announced in a press release that Lee Fitting had joined WWE as the Head of Media & Production. Fitting previously worked at ESPN for over 25 years before he was let go in August 2023. He was the Senior Vice President of Production at the sports TV channel and oversaw production on several properties, including Monday Night Football, College GameDay, and the College Football Playoff.

WWE President Nick Khan said about Fitting's hiring: "Lee is a phenomenal leader and executive known for work that generates both critical acclaim and mass appeal. Lee will be a tremendous addition to our stellar media and production team and play a key role in helping catapult WWE's growth."

Kevin Dunn was previously the Chief of Global Television Distribution within WWE but he officially departed the organisation at the end of 2023 after almost 40 years with the company. Dunn was one of the most powerful executives in WWE but his departure came about following the Endeavor takeover, with reports noting that Dunn felt disrespected and was a "Vince McMahon guy."

Relations between WWE and Dunn reportedly worsened in late 2023 and the situation only became "uglier" after he handed in his notice during Christmas week.
