WWE Interested In Signing Former NWA Champion

A former champion in the National Wrestling Alliance is on WWE’s radar following the end of their NWA contract.

Per reports from PWInsider and Haus of Wrestling, former NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille has caught the eye of the WWE, with Haus of Wrestling’s report stating that WWE are ‘super high’ on Kamille.

Following the merger between WWE and UFC under the TKO umbrella, WWE are reportedly in ‘acquisition mode’, and have also tied down several main event stars to lucrative long-term deals. In the case of Kamille, PWInsider state there was talk in late 2023 about Kamille landing on NXT.

Kamille finished up with NWA in late 2023 with her deal officially expiring on January 1, 2024. The split between the two sides was said to have been ‘amicable’. Kamille officially debuted with the NWA in October 2018 as Nick Aldis’ bodyguard, and would go on to hold the NWA World Women’s Championship for over 800 days, defeating Serena Deeb in June 2021 before dropping the title to Kenzie Paige in August 2023.

Ourtside of the NWA, Kamille has wrestled for Lucha Libre AAA, and made an appearance in AEW in 2021 ahead of a title defence against Leyla Hirsch.
