WWE Main Event Moving To Rumble

WWE Main Event has a new home, with the company announcing the taped C show will air on the video-sharing platform Rumble beginning on October 14 and will air at 8 pm ET on Wednesday nights every week.

WWE EVP Alex Varga said about the deal: "Serving a digital-first audience is a core focus for WWE, and Rumble has built an accessible platform that is committed to delivering premium sports and entertainment programming."

WWE launched WWE Main Event in October 2012, with the one-hour series quickly becoming a C-show filled with matches from lower- and mid-card WWE wrestlers, with matches being taped before Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.

WWE Main Event originally aired on Ion Television until 2014, with Hulu also picking up the rights to the show in 2012, with WWE Main Event continuing to air on the platform until 2024. WWE Main Event was also available on the WWE Network until 2024, while it aired on Peacock from January 2021 until the end of 2025. So far in 2026, WWE Main Event has been broadcast on YouTube.

Founded in 2013 by Chris Pavlovski as an alternative to YouTube for small content creators, Rumble received a huge boost in popularity after Donald Trump lost the 2020 United States presidential election, with the platform becoming popular amongst right-wing and far-right commentators who had been banned or demonetised on other social media sites. Prominent streamers on Rumble include the likes of Russell Brand, Rudy Giuliani, Alex Jones, and Donald Trump Jr., while Andrew Tate streamed on the platform until he was sent to jail.

Donald Trump was prominent on the platform until he was re-elected in the 2024 US presidential election, and US Vice President JD Vance was an investor in Rumble in 2021.
