WWE management are "extremely disappointed" and "legitimately p*ssed off" over Jimmy Uso's DUI arrest, according to a report from WrestleVotes.
"I've spoken to two sources this morning on the Jimmy Uso news. I can say with certainty that a few 'high level people in power' are extremely disappointed & legitimately pissed off over the arrest. This many times isn't a mistake or bad luck. It's personal judgment. Not good," they tweeted.
Escambia County, Florida prison records noted that Uso - real name Jonathan Fatu - was booked in during the early hours of July 6 on a misdemeanour DUI charge, while further documents obtained by TMZ Sports show the WWE Superstar also received citations for running a red light and speeding.
The TMZ report noted Uso was pulled over by police on Monday evening in Pensacola, Florida. Police said Uso ran a red light and was driving 50mph in a 35mph zone. Officers then said Uso was swaying when he was asked to exit his vehicle and a Blood Alcohol Content breath test showed Uso was well above the legal limit.
Uso was released from Escambia County jail at 9 am today after a $500 bond was posted, according to prison records.
Uso only returned to WWE TV in May 2021 after over a year out of action with an ACL injury. He has been involved in a storyline with brother Jey Uso and cousin Roman Reigns and was featured on last week's edition of SmackDown in an altercation with Edge.
