WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin Injured

The Irish Ace won't be out for long...

Since becoming NXT Cruiserweight Champion, Jordan Devlin has found himself having to balance wrestling on three different brands within WWE, along with a whole host of Independent promotions in Europe like PROGRESS, wXw and Fight Club: PRO.

Devlin recently explained in an interview with Ryan Satin at Pro Wrestling Sheet that he barely has time to breathe at the moment, and had only slept in his own bed six times in a four week period.

Devlin confirmed yesterday that the rigorous schedule had finally taken its toll as he pulled out of PROGRESS Chapter 103 due to a bout of elbow bursitis. The Irish Ace won't be spending too long on the sidelines, however, as he confirmed on Twitter that he'll be back in action in "a week or so."

Devlin tweeted: "Sorry to the @ThisIs_Progress fans and mgmt for missing #Chapter103 today. V.strenuous schedule lately and picked up a bit of elbow bursitis. It'll be fine in a week or so, I just didn't want to risk infection or aggravating it and prolonging my time out. See you guys soon."
