WWE NXT Halloween Havoc Set For October 26

The second annual NXT spooktacular is in the diary

As seen on last night’s edition of WWE NXT 2.0, the October 26 edition is set to be a spooky affair as Halloween Havoc returns.

The second annual NXT Halloween Havoc, the 2020 edition was hosted by Shotzi Blackheart, and was the first event under the Halloween Havoc banner since 2000, the event formerly one of WCW’s most beloved PPV’s.

Halloween Havoc 2021 is set to be headlined by Bron Breakker taking on NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa for the title, a bout which has been building since the inaugural edition of NXT 2.0.

Breakker’s rise has been one of the talking points of the brand since its technicolour relaunch in September 14, with Rick Steiner’s son prominently featured week in week out, usually by Ciampa’s side. Interestingly, this will also be the first time a Steiner has been involved with Halloween Havoc since 2000, when WCW Champion Booker T beat Scott Steiner by DQ.

There’s no word yet on if Halloween Havoc will be a fully thematic show or just a buzzworthy title for a regular edition of NXT 2.0, but expect details to start trickling out soon.
