WWE NXT Results - December 14, 2021

Lots of matches on NXT

Another edition of NXT aired from the WWE Performance Center on December 14, 2021.

The show opened with the No Holds Barred Match between Cameron Grimes and the wig-wearing Duke Hudson and both men took full advantage of the stipulation, battering each other with trash cans, steel chairs, kendo sticks and tables. The soundstage was even used as a weapon.

Hudson looked to get revenge on Grimes down the stretch and he grabbed hair clippers to shave the former Million Dollar Champion. The poker player spent too long looking at the clippers, though, and Grimes fired back with a kick before he followed up with a Poisonrana and the Cave In through a steel chair for the victory.

Further humiliation for Hudson then followed as Grimes tore off Duke's amateur wrestling wig, revealing the Australian was now completely bald.

Grayson Waller appeared elsewhere on NXT to gloat about ruining Johnny Gargano's leaving speech. The former Matty Wahlberg couldn't help but insult Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett before saying he only needs himself to reach the top of WWE.

This wasn't Waller's only involvement on the show, though, as he later attacked LA Knight in the car park and stole his car, driving off with Tiffany Stratton.

Bron Breakker took centre stage in the main event as he went one on one with Roderick Strong in a match that was set up last week.

After Strong managed to survive interference from Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, both The Messiah Of The Backbreaker and Bron Breakker fought back and forth throughout the remainder of the nine-minute match.

The NXT Cruiserweight Champion couldn't put Breakker away, though, and the Big Bad Booty Nephew eventually hit his Powerslam finisher for the win.

Breakker didn't have time to celebrate, however, as he was suddenly attacked by Tommaso Ciampa and the NXT Champion left his rival lying with a Widow's Bell on the title belt before he stood over the fallen Steiner as NXT went off the air.

Cora Jade also continued to gather momentum with a win over Dakota Kai on December 14. Kai failed time after time to finish Jade off which prompted her to get a shovel from under the ring. The Captain of Team Kick only succeeded in burying herself as the referee stopped Kai from using the weapon and Jade took advantage with a Roll Up for the 1-2-3.

An angry Kai then attacked Jade after the bell and she looked set to use the shovel, only to be chased off by Raquel Gonzalez. The two former friends will face off in a Street Fight next week.

Jade was still easy prey for Toxic Attraction, though, and Mandy Rose left the 20-year-old lying after attacking her already injured shoulder.

Elsewhere on NXT, Ivy Nile defeated Amari Miller, Harland vanquished Guru Raaj in his in-ring debut before he threw Brian Kendrick down a flight of stairs, Tony D'Angelo pinned Andre Chase before the gangster set up a match with Pete Dunne for next week, Boa decimated Edris Enofe, Jacket Time defeated Grizzled Young Veterans following interference from The Creed Brothers, and Shaman Riddle helped MSK clear their minds by gifting them scooters.

More romance could also be in the air as Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter went to a country music concert together and the two men were stunned by how good Carter and Catanzaro's line dancing was.
