A WWE NXT talent returned to the main roster ahead of Monday's episode of Raw.

WWE taped the latest episode of Main Event before Raw and Duke Hudson was in action at the taping, losing to Cedric Alexander. Hudson previously competed on the main roster as Brendan Vink, appearing on Monday Night Raw in a short-lived tag team with Shane Thorne between March and May 2020. MVP was even the team's manager until Porter aligned with Bobby Lashley.

Following the brief main roster run, Vink moved back to NXT and he was repackaged as Duke Hudson, resurfacing in developmental during the NXT Breakout Tournament in the summer of 2021.

Cameron Grimes was also in action on Main Event, defeating Akira Tozawa. He and Hudson are just the latest NXT talents to work Main Event in recent weeks, with the likes of Fallon Henley, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, Von Wagner, and Carmelo Hayes having all had matches on the main roster.

If any of those talents will be receiving main roster call-ups remains to be seen.
