WWE NXT Ties All-Time Record Low In 18-49 Demo On USA Network

Struggles continue

Ratings were down this week for the post-WarGames edition of NXT.

The December 7 show averaged 590,00 total viewers and a 0.11 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics. Thurston estimated the 0.11 rating equated to 148,000 viewers.

This rating was tied for the lowest viewership in the 18-49 demo since NXT started airing on USA Network in September 2019. The previous low was recorded on the November 16, 2021, episode of NXT which drew a 0.11 rating, or 143,000 viewers.

Only the August 3, 2021, edition of NXT had less viewers in the key demo, but this was because the show was moved to Syfy for that week.

NXT's continued struggles to draw a younger audience also meant the December 7 show's median age was 62-years-old.

NXT this week featured much of the fallout from WarGames and was headlined by a Steel Cage Match between Von Wagner and Kyle O'Reilly, as well as Johnny Gargano's goodbye in the main event segment.
