WWE NXT UK have announced a unique partnership.

WWE COO Triple H announced today that NXT UK have partnered with non-league football team Enfield Town in celebration of the club's 20th anniversary.

Within the announcement, Triple H referenced Enfield's history as England's first supporter-owned club and, therefore, "they share our [WWE's] passion in putting fans at the centre of what we do."

Few details about the new partnership were revealed but The Game mentioned there are "exciting things to come in the next few months."

A special 20th-anniversary commemorative Enfield Town shirt has already been released, with NXT UK featured as the kit's sponsor. The shirt can be purchased for £35 from Enfield Town's store

Founded in 2001, Enfield Town began life in the Essex Senior League. The non-league side have secured multiple promotions since then and they currently play in the Isthmian Football League, the seventh tier of English Football.

WWE NXT UK has a close connection to Enfield and the London borough is home to the company's UK Performance Center.
