WWE Pitch For Future Rusev Feud Revealed

Rusev has been back with WWE for one month, having returned to the company on the Raw after WrestleMania 41 before the former Miro promptly dismantled Alpha Academy.

Rusev has had one match since his return, defeating Otis in a six-minute contest on the May 5 episode of Monday Night Raw. The former AEW TNT Champion's next feud may have been revealed, though, with PWInsider reporting that there have been rumblings within WWE that a Rusev vs. Sheamus programme has been pitched. Any feud would play out on WWE Raw.

Sheamus made his own return to WWE TV in early May, having not wrestled since the Royal Rumble in February. Sheamus is 2-0 since his return, having defeated Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.

Rusev's WWE return after five years in All Elite Wrestling was cause for celebration in the WWE locker room. The 39-year-old may not be short on work either as reports have noted that multiple WWE talents have expressed an interest in working with Rusev down the line.
