The December 6 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw saw the show reach a new record low in terms of the crucial 18-49 audience figures.

According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE Raw drew a viewership of 1,599,000 this past week, a decrease from the 1,678,000 audience figure that the red brand claimed the week prior.

More newsworthy is the 0.35 rating that Raw scored in the key 18-49 demographic, which equates to 462.000 viewers. This was a huge decline from the 0.45 registered in the demo for the November 29 show and, more worryingly, was the lowest ever 18-49 demo rating for Raw on record.

The previous low was a 0.39 in the key 18-49 category, which was recorded back on October 18 2021.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes that the record low is particularly worrying for WWE as the 0.35 was registered on an evening where television figures were notably high across the United States.

WWE Raw faced significant competition from the New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills NFL game. The match attracted 14.91 million viewers and got a 4.49 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

It is noted that there was a large drop in the young person viewership throughout the show, significantly declining through Raw's three hours.
