WWE Raw Results - February 8 2021: The Build To Elimination Chamber Continues

The show also featured an "Ow, my hole!" yell from Nia Jax

The build to Elimination Chamber continued on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw and three title matches were made official for the pay-per-view.

Shane McMahon returned to Raw to open the February 8, 2021, broadcast and he and Adam Pearce announced Drew McIntyre will defend the WWE Championship inside the chamber against AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Jeff Hardy and The Miz. This will be The Scottish Psychopath's first title defence since he vanquished Goldberg at the Royal Rumble.

The storyline between Lacey Evans and Charlotte Flair also continued on last night's show and The Sassy Southern Belle earned herself a Raw Women's Title shot after she defeated Charlotte by disqualification.

The segment opened with a Ric Flair promo during which he explained his relationship with Evans was strictly casual despite their displays of affection in recent weeks. The Nature Boy said he was simply providing Evans with advice to help her become a star. Ric and his latest protege were then interrupted by Charlotte Flair and a match was set up after a brief interaction between Lacey and The Queen.

Evans dominated much of the 10-minute bout and she ultimately picked up the win after an enraged Charlotte beat her down in the corner and the referee called for the bell.

A Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship was also added to the Elimination Chamber card before Raw went off the air. Keith Lee inserted himself into the storyline between Riddle and Bobby Lashley after The Limitless One exchanged friendly words with Riddle about who had the better chance of defeating Lashley. This led to a singles match later in the episode and Lee vanquished The Original Bro following a Spirit Bomb. Lashley then attacked both men after the bell and WWE made the Triple Threat official for February 21.

Later in the show, the Tables Match between Nia Jax and Lana descended into comedy after the Women's Tag Team Champion missed a Leg Drop on the apron and yelled, "Ow, my butt. Ow, my hole." The missed move also gave Lana the opening to push The Irresistible Force through a table to secure the victory.

The Ravishing Russian couldn't celebrate for long, though, as Shayna Baszler attacked her after the bell. Naomi then promptly made the save and she and Baszler went one on one following the commercial break. Lana's tag team partner exacted some revenge on her behalf to end the segment as Naomi defeated Baszler with a Small Package.

Elsewhere on Raw, Damian Priest defeated The Miz and John Morrison's lackey Angel Garza following a Bad Bunny distraction, AJ Styles forced Jeff Hardy to submit to the Calf Crusher, Edge revealed he won't be announcing his WrestleMania opponent until after Elimination Chamber and The New Day defeated RETRIBUTION's Slapjack and T-Bar.

In the main event, Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton rekindled their rivalry and they fought back and forth for 12 minutes before Sheamus entered the ring and Brogue Kicked The Viper. The WWE Champion ended Raw standing tall, though, after he caught his former friend with the Claymore as the show went off the air.
