WWE Raw Results - October 25, 2021

A Ladder Match and more

WWE headed to the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas for the season premiere episode of Monday Night Raw on October 25, 2021.

The first episode of Raw since the 2021 Draft came into effect began with an announcement from Sonya Deville that Big E's next WWE Title challenger would be determined in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match between former world champions Rey Mysterio, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. All five men then appeared in the opening segment and the action broke down into a brawl after Seth Rollins attacked Kevin Owens.

The Ladder Match took place in the main event and everyone had carnage on their mind, as is typical with a WWE Ladder Match. Rey Mysterio was the first man put out of commission following a Powerbomb through a table from Kevin Owens. KO then had his hands on the contract but Rollins cut him off and then hit him with a Back Body Drop onto the ladder bridge at ringside. The Architect then decimated Finn Balor with a Stomp, giving Rollins ample time to climb the ladder and grab the contract.

Following the opening segment, the opening contest featured The Dirty Dawgs, Alpha Academy and The Street Profits as they vied for a Raw Tag Team Title. The Street Profits looked to be in control down the stretch but Omos suddenly headed to the ring and Montez Ford tried to take out AJ Styles' Personal Colossus with a dive. This, of course, ended badly for Ford as Omos threw him into the barricade. Roode and Ziggler then hit Dawkins with a Zig-Zag/Spinebuster combination for the 1-2-3.

The Dirty Dawgs received a title match later in the night and both teams fought back and forth throughout the contest. RK-Bro then managed to pick up the win after Riddle and Ziggler exchanged cradles until The Original Bro pinned Dolph's shoulders to the mat for a three count.

A Raw Women's Title match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair was also set for the November 1 episode of Raw. The match came about after Lynch headed to the ring to celebrate retaining the then SmackDown Women's Title at Crown Jewel. Bianca Belair joined her soon after and claimed Lynch cheated to win at the pay-per-view despite it being a Triple Threat. Lynch was initially confident but she became increasingly irritated by Belair until The Man told Bianca to "get to the back of the line, b*tch." This led to a brawl between both women and Belair stood tall after using a kendo stick to execute a Russian Leg Sweep. Lynch then accepted her challenge, just not for tonight.

United States Champion Damian Priest had a new attitude to accompany his new look and entrance music elsewhere on Raw. The Archer Of Infamy picked up a quick DQ win over T-Bar after the former Dominik Dijakovic threw a chair at him. This caused Priest to snap and he battered T-Bar until he left him lying following the Reckoning.

Elsewhere on Raw, Zelina Vega defeated Doudrop after hitting her over the head with a sceptre, the never-ending rivalry between Carmella and Liv Morgan continued with another win for Carmella after Morgan decided it would be a good idea to shout a Corey Graves, Keith "Bearcat" Lee squashed Cedric Alexander, and Austin Theory pinned Dominik Mysterio inside the squared circle following a confrontation backstage.
