John Cena opened the March 17 edition of Monday Night Raw from Brussels, Belgium and spoke for the first time since his heel turn at Elimination Chamber.

Cena cut a promo in which he admonished the fans, stating that he had been the victim in an abusive relationship and that "each and every one of you has been awful to me." Cena even referenced the 'You Can't See Me' meme, claiming it was no longer funny. He ended the promo by saying he was breaking up with the WWE fans.

This led to an interruption from Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, the man John Cena turned heel on, and an aggressive Rhodes told the 47-year-old to find John Cena because he didn't want to wrestle "this whiny b*tch" at WrestleMania 41.

The segment was well received by those in attendance and fans tweeting along to the show on social media. According to Fightful Select, WWE was "ecstatic" by the reception that Cena received in Brussels. The 16-time world champion received "John Cena sucks" chants during his entrance and fans serenaded him with "Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye" while Cena left the arena. A WWE source also noted to Fightful that Raw was the "hottest TV environment they've experienced."

WWE's tour of Europe will continue until the end of March, with Raw and SmackDown set to air live on Netflix in many international territories. SmackDown will air on tape delay at 8 pm ET in the United States.
