WWE are reportedly planning to have The Miz and John Morrison feud with The New Day next on Raw, as cracks in the pair's relationship begin to show on television.

The Miz was revealed to be faking his injury on the red brand last week, leading to tag-team partner Morrison feeling let down by the former WWE Champion. Morrison walked out on Miz during his match with Damien Priest this past Monday, but the duo appeared to reconcile backstage.

As WWE continue to tease the smallest of issues arising between the pair, who have been teaming since late 2019, The New Day could be seen in the background. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the two teams are set to start a rivalry on Raw.

This, in turn, could lead to even further issues for The Miz and Morrison.

Meltzer said: ""That is the program that they’re going to do [New Day vs Miz/Morrison]. They were running around in the back. Miz and Morrison were doing the promo, and Kofi and Xavier are like behind them.

"It’s supposed to be like ‘Oh, they got caught on camera when they were hanging around.' They had a thing up that said ‘buy our shirts’ and things like that. It’s like the beginning of something, yeah."
