Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax def. Charlotte Flair & Asuka - Women's Tag Team Championship - Kickoff Show

Both teams took turns dominating the action in the early going. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax eventually took control, though, following a Clothesline on Asuka from Jax.

Asuka eventually fought back with a Powerbomb on Jax but Baszler broke up the pin. Nia followed up with a Sit-Out Powerbomb but Charlotte Flair broke up the pin. Asuka then made the hot tag to Charlotte and she hit a Double Natural Selection on the challengers. Baszler just managed to kick out.

After more back and forth action, Baszler and Jax tossed Asuka over the announce table, putting her out of commission.  Charlotte then hit Jax and Baszler with a Moonsault to the outside.

The match was turned on its head after Ric Flair headed to the ring. Charlotte managed to shake off the distraction and lock Baszler in the Figure Eight, but Lacey Evans appeared and pulled The Queen's arms out from under her.

Charlotte managed to lock in the Figure Eight again but Ric Flair distracted the official and Lacey Evans caught The Queen with the Woman's Right. Nia Jax then capitalised with a Leg Drop for the 1-2-3.

Drew McIntyre def. Goldberg - WWE Championship

Goldberg headed to the ring in shorts, ditching his trademark trunks.

Before the bell rang, McIntyre punched Goldberg and followed up with a Spear. The action spilled to the outside and Goldberg reversed a throw into the steel steps and capitalised with a Spear through the barricade.

The referee asked if Drew could fight and the WWE Champion ordered the official to "ring the damn bell." Following the bell, McIntyre blocked a Spear and hit a Claymore. Goldberg kicked out. McIntyre went for a second Claymore but Goldberg ducked and delivered two Spears. McIntyre just managed to power out.

Goldberg connected with the Jackhammer and McIntyre barely got his shoulder up. The WWE Hall Of Famer then set up for another Spear but McIntyre moved and countered with a Claymore.

The WWE Champion then covered Goldberg for the victory. WWE fans around the world let out a sigh of relief.

Both men shook hands and hugged after the match.

Sasha Banks def. Carmella - SmackDown Women's Championship

Sasha Banks looked to end the match quickly and tried to lock in the Bank Statement. The challenger escaped to the outside, though.

Reginald got involved a couple of minutes later which allowed Carmella to gain the upper hand. The challenger dominated the action for the next few minutes until Banks fought back with a Meteora.

Carmella then tied Sasha's hair to the bottom rope and Kicked away at the champion. Sasha fought back once again with the Double Knees and Two out of Three Amigos. Sasha was then tossed to the outside but Reginald caught her. Banks attacked him with a Hurricanrana and the referee ordered Reggie to head backstage.

While Banks was distracted, Carmella caught the champion with a Suicide Dive. The challenger landed hard, though, as it looked like she overshot the move.

After both women fought back and forth, Banks went for a Frog Splash but Carmella got her knees up and locked in the Code Of Silence. The Blueprint managed to escape, however.

Carmella then scored a Near Fall after catching the champion with two Superkicks.

The finish came out of nowhere moments later as The Boss locked in the Bank Statement and forced the challenger to tap out.

Bianca Belair wins the Women's Royal Rumble

Before the Women's Royal Rumble, the broadcast cut to a backstage segment with the reunited New Day. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods both wore gear honouring Brodie Lee. Big E could also be wearing tribute Brodie Lee gear, but we didn't get to see his back during the segment. Kofi confirmed he wasn't medically cleared to compete, having injured his jaw at TLC.

Lana was eliminated by Natalya, making the final four The Queen Of Harts, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair.

Natalya was gone soon after following an attack from Bianca Belair.

The final three stared each other down and quickly started brawling. Ripley and Belair worked together to beat down Flair and they eventually managed to eliminate The Queen.

Both Ripley and Belair briefly celebrated and ended up hanging on the apron. They agreed to re-enter the ring and Belair went straight after The Nightmare.

After both women almost picked up the win, Bianca Belair eventually eliminated Ripley with a Clothesline.

Roman Reigns def. Kevin Owens - Last Man Standing Match for the Universal Championship

Before the next match, The Miz and John Morrison were involved in a backstage skit with Bad Bunny and GI Bro.

Pete Rosenberg also won the 24/7 Championship after convincing R-Truth that John Cena was nearby.

Eventually, the Universal Championship match began and both men went straight after each other. Roman Reigns managed to catch Kevin Owens with an early Superman Punch and KO fired back with a Pop-Up Powerbomb.

The action spilled to the outside and Reigns drilled Owens with a Spear. The challenger got back to his feet at 7. Reigns then repeatedly hammered Owens in the face with the steel steps, sending the match into the LED ThunderDome screens.

KO eventually fought back and bounced Roman's head off the steel steps and LED screens. They climbed into the LED screen area and Reigns beat down KO with a steel chair. They climbed into the third level of the ThunderDome and it was KO's turn to hit his opponent with a steel chair. Reigns quickly regained the upper hand, though, and used the chair to good effect.

Owens caught Reigns with a Stunner and with the champion teetering, the challenger went for a Spear but Reigns fought back with a Superman Punch. He then flung Owens from the third level through a table. KO managed to get back to his feet at the count of nine.

Owens hobbled backstage and out to the Tropicana Field area behind the ThunderDome. Reigns then appeared from out of nowhere and ran over Owens with a golf cart. The challenger got back to his feet and tried to fight back with a tray but Reigns only looked on in disgust and beat him down. Reigns then taunted Owens about his grandfathers which ignited a fire inside KO who fought back and delivered a Frog Splash through a backstage announce table. Reigns got back to his feet at nine.

Owens next fired up a forklift and put Reigns through a table with a Senton from the top of the vehicle. Reigns barely beat the count.

Both men eventually headed back to the ThunderDome and Reigns Speared Owens through the stage. KO rolled off the stage to get back to his feet. Reigns chased after Owens with a pair of handcuffs and screamed at the challenger. Owens managed to fight back and deliver another Stunner to The Big Dog. The challenger then beat down Reigns with the handcuffs and cuffed him to the bottom stage light.

Reigns had no way to get back to his feet so he grabbed the official and pulled him into the stage, knocking him out. Owens tried to beat down Reigns some more but The Big Dog Low Blowed the challenger. Paul Heyman then reappeared and freed Reigns. Both men were there for a while as it looked like they were having an issue with the cuffs.

When the champion did get back to his feet, Reigns locked in the Guillotine on Owens, choking out the challenger. KO failed to meet the count of 10, ending the match.
