WWE's Stephanie McMahon To Meet With Network Executives

Stephanie McMahon is reportedly set to meet with TV network executives at the end of July.

It emerged recently that TV networks NBC and FOX had been pushing for more themed shows, with ideas like a "points month", wrestling world cup and crossovers with NASCAR and Sunday Night Football having been pitched. Revivals of King Of The Ring and viewer's choice events have also been discussed within WWE, as has bringing back Raw Roulette. 

According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, Stephanie McMahon is set to meet with network executives from either NBC or FOX later this month to discuss the ideas they have been pitching.

"I don't know which network it was but somebody told me that Steph has a meeting with one of the networks at the end of the month for pitched ideas from the network. I don't know if this is a common thing that they do or if this is a regular thing but I know that the networks are pitching ideas," Zarian said.

Zarian further noted that one of the pitched ideas was Legends Night, which has been a popular concept on Raw to boost ratings in recent years.
