WWE SmackDown's Naomi Recently Underwent Unexpected Surgery
Her return date is unclear...
Naomi hasn't appeared on WWE TV since the August 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. On the show, she competed in a Beat The Clock Challenge against Sasha Banks and Bayley and the former Funkadactyl managed to pick up a win over the SmackDown Women's Champion.
Why Naomi had been absent from the blue brand was previously unknown but the reason for her disappearance was uncovered yesterday. The WWE Superstar revealed on her Instagram story that she recently underwent unexpected surgery to remove a fibroid. When she will return is currently unclear.
The former SmackDown Women's Champion wrote: "In the midst of hurricane sally and Covid I also underwent an unexpected surgery to finally remove a massive fibroid that's caused me sever anemia fatigue, horrible abdominal pains and more problems I don't even want to mention over the past year and a half… I'm recovering well, I’m relieved and already feeling so much better so family friends and fans don't worry I’m ok lol miss ya #myomectomyrecovery."
