WWE SmackDown Spoilers For December 22
All the spoilers and results for next week's SmackDown
WWE superstars are set to get holiday season at home with their families this year, which led to WWE hosting a double taping of Friday Night SmackDown last night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Next week’s show sees some big developments, with a couple of main roster returns, the finals being set for the United States Championship number one contenders tournament, and an announcement with big implications for the world title scene.
The spoilers for next Friday’s December 22 edition of SmackDown are as follows;
- Santos Escobar defeats Bobby Lashley - United States Championship Tournament Semi Final (during the match, Humberto Carillo and Angel Garza returned to the main roster to help Escobar win the match)
- Dragon Lee defeated Butch
- SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that LA Knight vs. AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton at “SmackDown: New Year’s Revolution” would take place, with the winner facing Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble 2024 event for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
- Bianca Belair, Michin, & Zelina Vega defeated Damage CTRL
- Kevin Owens defeated Carmelo Hayes - United States Championship Tournament Semi Final
- AJ Styles defeated Solo Sikoa via DQ (a brawl involving the Bloodline, LA Knight, and Randy Orton ensued following the finish)
