New Japan Pro-Wrestling and WWE had a brief agreement in 2022, with Karl Anderson continuing his reign as NEVER Openweight Champion despite returning to WWE in October of last year. This led to Anderson dropping his title to Tama Tonga at Wrestle Kingdom 17 as a WWE talent on January 4.

Now, another member of The OC in Mia Yim has admitted she is open to performing in New Japan, calling a possible bout with Mercedes Moné a "dream match.

"I am. I've wrestled in Japan many, many times, but I've always wanted to wrestle for New Japan. So that is on the bucket list. So AJ, Karl, make sure you bring me next time. I'm still offended you didn't," Yim told Wrestling Inc.

After being asked about a possible clash with Mercedes Moné, Yim added: "Definitely, a dream match, for sure."

Moné previously performed in WWE as Sasha Banks but she exited the company in 2022. She made her New Japan debut at Wrestle Kingdom 17 to attack KAIRI and Moné will challenge KAIRI for the IWGP Women's Championship at Battle in the Valley on February 18.
