WWE Talent Won't Be Cleared For In-Ring Return Until 2024
This WWE talent won't be wrestling until next year

A WWE talent won't be returning to the ring until at least January 2024.
Dakota Kai has been out of action since sustaining a torn ACL on the May 12 episode of Friday Night SmackDown during a tag team match against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Kai has since returned to the road with WWE and she is often on SmackDown alongside her Damage CTRL faction mates IYO SKY and Bayley but Kai has not been involved in any physical angles.
This is because Kai has yet to be cleared and she revealed on a Twitch stream she won't be wrestling until next year.
"Probably 2024. I do think it's funny that a lot of people are like, 'She's not injured at all. Look at her walking around.' ACL injury, I haven't even learned how to start running and jumping again yet. I think I'm going to start running this week. ACL recovery, especially for someone in sport, we use our legs a lot. If I were a desk worker, I'd be back at work. Because it's wrestling, I won't be cleared until January," Kai stated
Kai is currently in her second run with WWE, having returned to the company in the Summer of 2022. She is a two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion and two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion.
