The Omicron variant of COVID-19 has affected much of the sports world and Premier League, NFL and NHL games have had to be rescheduled because of positive COVID-19 tests.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, COVID-19 has also affected WWE once again and Superstars and staff reportedly felt "run down" following house shows over the weekend and the Monday Night Raw taping from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Since those shows, "some" have tested positive for COVID-19 while others who felt unwell are still waiting for their test results.

While Friday's edition of SmackDown won't be affected since it was taped on December 17, WWE's post-Christmas live event tour could be impacted by the positive tests.

The tour is set to begin on December 26 before several shows across the United States and Canada until the final events on December 30.

WWE will then hold the Day 1 pay-per-view on January 1 in Atlanta, Georgia. If any plans for the pay-per-view will need to be changed ultimately remains to be seen, though.
