WWE To Hold First Main Roster December PPV Since 2020 With Wrestlepalooza 2026

WWE will hold a main roster pay-per-view in December for the first time in several years as the company announced a new three-year partnership with Tourism Western Australia that will see Perth hold annual WWE pay-per-views through 2028.

The partnership will begin in December of this year with SmackDown on Friday, December 11, followed by Wrestlepalooza: Perth on Saturday, December 12, and Monday Night Raw on December 14.

WWE have already worked with Tourism Western Australia in recent years, with Elimination Chamber 2024 and Crown Jewel 2025 taking place in Perth. WWE have claimed the events have generated over AUD $58 million for the Western Australia economy.

Wrestlepalooza 2026 will be the first WWE main roster pay-per-view since TLC 2020, with WWE often simply holding the Royal Rumble in late January as the pay-per-view that follows Survivor Series in November, although NXT have continued to hold a major event in December with Deadline since 2022.

WWE revived Wrestlepalooza - a former ECW event - in 2025. The pay-per-view, the first on ESPN Unlimited, was not well-received, however, and it was actually ranked as the third-worst WWE pay-per-view of the year.
